• An internal investigation by the TSA has revealed some disturbing gaps in the security screening at some of the nation’s busiest airports. Investigators were able to smuggle mock explosives or banned weapons through checkpoints in 95 percent of trials, and TSA agents failed 67 out of 70 tests.
• Lindsey Graham became the ninth Republican to enter the 2016 presidential race Monday announcing his candidacy in Central, South Carolina, where he was born 59 years ago. “I want to help make a great nation greater,” he told the gathered audience.
• Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, is introducing herself to the world on the new cover of Vanity Fair. The magazine unveiled the July 2015 cover on Monday, which was shot by Annie Leibovitz at Jenner’s home in Malibu, California.
