• The hours-long hunt for a double murder suspect in the Mississippi Delta ended last night as Shannon Lamb apparently turned his gun on himself with police closing in. Lamb was suspected of shooting professor Ethan Schmidt, with whom he worked, and also of killing a woman he lived with.
